Daniel Ontaneda

Education

Daniel Ontaneda earned his M.D.  from the Universidad Católica del Ecuador and M.Sc. in clinical research from Case Western Reserve University. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by neurology and neuroimmunology training at the Cleveland Clinic. He has been awarded a Sylvia Lawry and KL2 Award.

Research Interests

Dr. Daniel Ontaneda is a staff member of the Cleveland Clinic Mellen Center for Multiple Sclerosis and an Assistant Professor of Neurology/Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of CWRU.  His main research interests include imaging outcomes for progressive MS, diffusion tensor imaging and magnetic resonance fingerprinting.
