Darcy Freedman leads $2.3 Million Study of Hub 55’s food hub

CWRU has received a $2.3 million NIH grant to study St. Clair Superior neighborhood’s Hub 55 project, on Cleveland’s East Side. Darcy Freedman, Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, is the PI for the study, Future of Food in Your Neighborhood, or foodNEST.

“This grant is a really good opportunity for Cleveland to become a leader in the national conversation in this area,” Freedman told The Plain Dealer/cleveland.com.
