Research Interests
My specific interests relate to lifestyle, environmental, and occupational factors and their impact on reproductive and perinatal health. One arm of my research focuses on pre- and peri-conceptional factors that may have a direct toxic effect on the reproductive system or that may be hormonally active resulting in altered reproductive capacity or disease. The other arm of my research relates to the development of reliable and valid methods of retrospective exposure assessment of occupational exposures particularly in relation to the study of birth defects.
