SSH CLIENT

Click here to download the SSH client to access the UNIX servers. All you need to do is download the program, double-click on it, and follow the step-by-step directions to complete the installation.

Mac users don't need the SSH software, Mac OS X has an ssh utility built-in:

Go to Applications, Utilities, and click on Terminal.  Then type the following:

ssh username@servername

When you're done, type exit.

Mac users will, however, require additional software for transferring files between their computers and a Unix server.  The Fugu software is free and easy to use:
