Kathy Miller is the Director of Administrative Operations for the Department of Population & Quantitative Health Sciences (PQHS). A 6 year employee of Case Western Reserve University, with a B.S. in Business Administration and Management, Kathy was a pre and post award Grants Manager in the Department of Pediatrics prior to joining the Department. She is driven by process improvement and providing the best customer service possible to both internal and external customers. Kathy works closely with the Department Chair, Vice Chair of Education, and Vice Chair of Research to develop operational strategies, and she is charged with their implementation across all operations of the Department. Kathy assists the Department Chair with executing the mission and vision of the Department and the Institute for Computational Biology (ICB). She oversees business and strategic planning, educational programs operation management, pre and post award management of funded and unfunded projects, human resources management, and the management of operational funds of the Department, ICB, and educational programs.
