Our Biostatistics graduate program is based on extensive interviews with a range of clinical and biomedical employers to make sure our graduates have an edge in a rapidly changing marketplace.

The Master’s program can be done intensively in 11 months, or at a slower pace to finish in 1.5 or 2 years. You also can take the program part-time and complete it at your own pace.

Biostatistics faculty are readily accessible and have connections to support you in finding internships and job opportunities at leading hospitals/health systems, health insurers, and big data health analytic companies, as well as academic and industry research institutes.

Four tracks mean you can tailor a Masters degree that resonates with your interests.

  • Biostatistics (Generalist Track)
  • Genomics and Bioinformatics
  • Health Care Analytics
  • Social and Behavioral Science

The Biostatistics program is housed within the top-ranked Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, affiliated with some of the nation’s best hospitals including – Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, and MetroHealth Medical Center. Housed within the Department for Population and Quantitative Health Sciences, Biostatistics program faculty also collaborate in research through the Cleveland Institute for Computational Biology and the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods.
